The finish looks cheap - pieces are dirty and slightly scratched Poor workmanship - holes are drilled in the wrong place, drawers don't line up. Bottomline: find something else. This review is from: Techni Mobili Laminate Computer Desk in Chocolate (Office Product) I read the only review of this desk and almost didn't buy it because of that review. I'm glad I changed my mind. I agree that the manufacturing process wasn't good on this desk but it's a mass manufactured desk... what do you expect? And the desk itself isn't that expensive. Mine had some scratches on it when it came in that obviously came from poor manufacturing but it went together perfectly all the same. Once it was all together it looks pretty good and seems sturdy. Unless you got up close with a flash light you wouldn't notice the imperfections. As desks go I'm extremely happy with the quality of the desk vs. the price.
