For the price I really didn't expect much, but it's surprisingly comfortable. The arms have thick padding and the lumbar support hits in just the right spot (I'm 5'10). It also shipped much faster than I anticipated and arrived before the first date in the estimated range.It was quite easy to assemble. I can barely tell a hammer from a screwdriver let alone use them, but I managed to put this together alone in under an hour. The packaging and instructions were extremely well organized and easy to follow. This is probably something that anyone with more assembly skill than I would think was obvious - but don't fully tighten the screws that connect the back to the seat until you have the arms attached. Well designed. Back support is good. I'm 6'4 and the seat height works for a desk that I use at counter height. My friend put it together while we watched "Due Date" last night...he was done quickly and seated with a drink in hands. He commented several times how easy it was. The leather looks much better in person than it does on the picture. Very supple, low gloss leather. Nice dark chocolate color.I looked long and hard for an office chair and finally gave up the search and bought this one on price. It is not complicated. However, it would have been helpful to have someone help me with the armrests. I struggled to get the bolts in both the sides and the back. The color is nice. Much better than my black Office Max chair. Lumbar support is very full and cushy. Height is good. All the way down is a little too low and it has plenty of height for a tall guy. I'm 6' 225# and I have it somewhere in the middle. Armrests are very well cushioned. I paid $180. Today it's $136. I recommend this chair at this time. Of course, I have no idea on durability yet. So far SO GOOD. |
